ABOUT
I have been a photographer for 35 years and for
the past 12 years I have owned Silverworks Lab, a custom B&W lab in Santa Monica California. In 1978 I was on the
board of Cameravision, a gallery and photography organization, devoted to photography as an art form. I studied with Edmund
Teske at U.C.L.A. for 2 years and I also was in Leland Rice's Master Workshop at U.C.L.A. I am also a past president
of the Sierra Club Camera Committee Los Angeles Chapter. I have led many trips and had many shows for the camera committee
and I also lead workshops and photography trips in California and Utah. I also teach private classes both in camera awareness
and darkroom procedures. My work is in private collections and I have had many showings of my work. I specialize in B&W
developing and printing, I also print Ilfochromes and Type C prints. Over the past few years I have also become proficient
in digital scanning and printing. Photography is my life and the Silver Print is my preferred medium. Please enjoy looking
at my work and if you have questions or comments please feel free to contact me at deandadin@aol.com. For lab information please see my Silverworks
Lab category. Once again thanks for looking.
